Pleated cellulose media for general water filtration. Maximizes dirt-holding capacity at 5 microns. Materials include polypropylene fibers, vinyl plastisol end caps, and polyethylene netting. Temperature range 40°F to 145°F.

Excellent product

These were the 1st filters we used and they lasted 8 yrs before we had to replace them. The company we got them from was no longer in business. We thot we were getting the same thing, even though they had Crystal Quests name on them. However, we knew from the beginning and had to replace them w/i a yr. We then went to CQs website and ordered thru them and could tell immediately that this was the real deal.

Replacement cartridge

Ordering was easy, shipping was fast! The packaging was great. I ordered 2 cartridges, they were shipped in the same heavy duty box. Each cartridge was separately wrapped in foam with an additional layer of plastic covering the filter itself! We changed the filter cartridge as instructed without any problem & ran the water to get the air out of the water line. Our water has been running perfectly since!

These cartridges work

I've been using the 2" x 20" pleated cellulose cartridges since 2017 and they work well as pre-filters for a whole house system. They seem very consistent for quality and they do catch a lot of material from the raw water side of my filter system. I do recommend.
