SeptiSense is a cellular and Wi-Fi monitoring board that installs inside an existing septic, grinder pump or lift station control panel and sends remote alerts for high water and power loss.
It mounts to a standard 35mm DIN rail and connects to the panel's existing alarm circuit using either a dry contact closure input or a 120V AC signal input.
Onboard supercapacitors provide approximately 15 minutes of backup power after AC power is lost so a power loss alert can be sent.
It can run on cellular only, or on Wi-Fi with automatic cellular backup, and the cellular radio hops between major LTE carriers to find the strongest signal.
Alerts are delivered through the Level Sense app and Level-Sense.com.
Email, text and push notifications are included with an active annual cellular subscription, which is required for cellular operation.
The board must be installed inside an enclosure rated IP67 or better.
This IP67 version is designed for metal enclosures and includes an external salt and pepper style antenna.
