How It Works

Every Rein Water engagement begins with a water quality analysis. No system is recommended before that data is reviewed.

Water Quality Analysis

Water quality records for your municipality are pulled from EPA and Environmental Working Group databases and reviewed against both federal maximum contaminant levels and current EWG health guidelines. The two standards diverge on a number of regulated compounds — both are relevant to an accurate assessment.

For private well clients, a physical test kit establishes the baseline. Well water is not subject to municipal reporting requirements, and contamination profiles are determined by local geology and surrounding land use rather than a centralized treatment process.

System Recommendation

A written recommendation is prepared outlining the filtration technology appropriate to your water quality profile. Where multiple options are suitable, each is presented with full NSF certification documentation, independently verified performance specifications, and total cost of ownership.

Each recommendation includes an explicit statement of what the system removes, what it does not, and what the ongoing maintenance schedule requires.

Ongoing Maintenance

Filter media has a defined service life. A system operating beyond its recommended replacement interval does not perform to its certified specifications. Every client receives a scheduled maintenance program calibrated to their system and water conditions, with annual water quality review available to confirm continued system performance.
